The yamauba comes for her ashinaka sandal
What the record says
A man went up the mountain one day, found a brand-new thing woven from bamboo, and hung it up by his back door. That night a yamauba came and said, "Give back my ashinaka." What the man had taken for a mekke basket was the yamauba's short straw sandal.
